An average of $15,000 in grants awarded each year. An average of 20 grants awarded each year.

Members are currently building an endowment. Members are soliciting contributions by making one-on-one contacts in the community. Each of the members has also made a personal contribution to the endowment.
If applicable, how are funds raised each year?
We receive funding from the Dekko Foundation.
Number of youth and adults involved in the youth philanthropy programs:
18 students and 7 adults
Who staffs the program:
One adult guide from each high school, the Program Associate of the community foundation and one volunteer from the community foundation work on a regular basis with student members DeKalb’s VOICE. In addition, the Executive Director, Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper provide support services from the community foundation. The Dekko Foundation also provides staff that lends support to the program.
