Deadline for YP Jam Quickly Approaching - Judy O'Bannon to Keynote YP Jam '05
2005 YP Jam: Building Leaders for Life will give participants an action packed opportunity to develop as servant leaders during the conference. Opportunities include everything from hearing outstanding leaders such as former Indiana First Lady Judy O'Bannon to rolling up sleeves and getting involved in actual community service. The
discounted early registration of $55 must be postmarked by June 1st. Even at the full fee of $65, the conference will provide outstanding value. The 2005 YP Jam will be held July 6-7th at Franklin College.
Participants are asked to be collecting new or gently used children's books to go in Habitat for Humanity homes. Also, each organization attending YP Jam 2005 is invited to present and share your story of the best grant funded or community service activity implemented. Groups will put together a display board with pictures and information and make a two minute presentation on the activity/grant. This is an opportunity for others attending the YP Jam to hear creative ideas from others all across Indiana... and beyond! YP Jam participants will select the "greatest grant/super service activity" and cash prizes will be awarded to continue future great works! More information on the
presentations is available on our web site at www.ypin.org.
Brochures are available for the 2005 YP Jam and an electronic version is available by clicking onto www.ypin.org. July 6-7th will be here soon, so make sure your community has plans to attend. Besides being involved in community service, Jam participants will have many opportunities to grow as leaders throughout the low cost, spectacular, two day event. If you have questions, would like more information, or have youth where financial need would prevent them from attending, contact us at info@ypin.org. Above photo of youth and
