Orange County Community Foundation Endowment: In December 2001, the Board of Directors of the Orange County Community Foundation decided to start a Youth Philanthropy Endowment and put $1000 in it. Within a month, a donor gave a gift of stock worth $22,000 to add to the youth endowment. If you build it, they will come! Jennings County Students Raise over $13,000 for United Way
The youth of Jennings County raised more than $13,321 in a combined effort that spanned early learning to high school students participating in both hat days and fun walks. This was a 43% increase over last years total of $9,000. Jennings County is growing lifelong philanthropists!
