Program Description:
South Madison Community Foundation sponsors two Youth Commissions-each one represents a specific school district in our part of the county.

√ Civic Engagement
√ Develops youth and adult partnerships
√ Fundraising events and activities
√ Service Learning
√ Philanthropy education/training
√ Grantmaking
   Encourages personal giving
   Annually gives funds for community needs

Local businesses that sponsor fundraising events, school systems, not-for-profits that benefit from the grant awards and service projects.

Each YC has an endowed fund that produces earnings to support grantmaking but each YC is also responsible for fundraising activities throughout the year to supplement the earnings.
