Program Description:
The Youth Philanthropy Committee of the Community Foundation is comprised of four adults and nine youth who promote philanthropy and service to young people in Putnam County. The Committee awards grants to youth-led service projects and assesses the community's need from a youth perspective. The group has five officers: Youth Co-Chair, Adult Co-Chair, Secretary, Publicity Officer and Fundraising Officer. The Community Foundation provides one staff member for the group. The group was established at the end of 2006.
